"A witch?"
"Yes, m'lord."
"And you let her live here? Right in the center of town?"
"Well not 'let' as such, m'lord. See, there was this priest of St. Cuthbert who came into town one day. He told us to never fear, he wasn't going to let no witch live in a town under his protection. Anyway, he walked in bold as brass, and we found half of his head over near the town gate two weeks later. In truth, she's not bad company, m'lord. I understand some of the womenfolk go to her when they've problems that Pelor won't help them with."
"What?"
