“silver glass”到底是什么意思，怎么翻译出“长草”来了。到底是什么东西变成silver glass？
“light on the water”又说的是什么呢？

请指教。

这里我的理解是：all Souls pass是修饰the water的，这里的the water指sundering sea。根据托老的设定，灵魂在肉体死后都要来到Hall of Mandos，因此在中土的亡魂必须飘洋过海前去。

silver glass啊，就是引用LOTR里面一段形容，放在上下文里理解就好简单的。

原文（故事末尾，Frodo在灰港上船离开中州）：

所以就是字面上的理解：
一切都会变成银色的水晶（这个比喻就是用中文也不会不懂吧？）
当然亚瑟用的“澄澈的世界”也可以啊，相当于把比喻的喻意说出来了。

PS：电影里，有关grey rain-curtain和silver glass这段话被移植给干豆腐，是他拿来给皮平打气的——当时正是冈多看来马上要玩完的时候。
（简单的说就是：小皮表怕死，死了以后你不过就是灵魂到了瓦里诺尔，也就是上天堂的说~~）

那这个“light”应该不是真正的"light"吧？是frodo感觉到远方的那音乐，好像雨雾中微弱的光线。呵呵，不知道对不对，这最后一段书，看起来真像诗歌。
