In the world we didn't know, there're twenty magic rings.<br> Three rings for the Elven-kings under the sky. Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone. Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die. One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne. The only one for the Dark Lord is the Lord of the Rings. And it caused the War of the Ring in Middle-Earth. <br> The Lord of The Rings written by J. R. R. Tolkien probably is the most famous fantasy novel in the world. Mr. Bilbo got a gold ring in his trek, but he didn't know it was the Lord of the Rings. He brought it back home, and left it to Frodo, his nephew. Several years later, Gandalf the wizard recognized the ring, he knew the Dark Lord Sauron was seeking for it; and if Sauron got back the Ring, evil force would make a lot of calamities. So, Frodo had to leave his hometown and go to destroy the ring. The Fellowship of the Ring went with him, and gave him many helps. Finally, Frodo destroyed the ring and the Fellowship of the Ring and other people wan the War of the Ring. It's quite a long story, full of friendship, love, courage and fighting. <br> The Lord of The Rings is a very good novel, though it's very long. The trilogy is very popular in Great Britain, and Tolkien became famous because of it. It's my favorite novel, and I hope you will read it some time.
